Facial Rejuvenation, Facelift and Laser Resurfacing"Turning back the clock" In these modern times, almost everyone wants to look their best. Not long ago, there were just a handful of procedures to "turn back the clock". Today there is a wide range of safe and effective procedures and treatments devised to help rejuvenate the facial area. During your consultation with Dr. Warren he will evaluate your specific situation and propose a treatment that is right for you. Sometimes, the recommend treatment is simpler that the patient expected. Using computer imaging, the expected end result of each treatment can be shown using your own photograph at your first office visit. Facelift A facelift can correct many facial flaws by tightening loose skin in the area of the jowls and neck. The resulting incision is discretely hidden near the ear. This operation tightens all the skin of the face and can have a dramatic effect on a patient's apparent age. Another new technique, includes tightening of the deeper layers of the face. Dr. warren feels that tightening the deep layers improves the result and makes the result last longer. Some younger patients, may only require tightening of the neck skin, commonly called a neck lift. The scar from this procedure is completely hidden behind the ear.
The CO2 laser has greatly improved the results of lower eyelid surgery. Without an incision on the skin, the fat, which creates "bags", can be removed and the skin can be smoothed and tightened with minimal risk. All photos are of Dr. Warren's actual patients and are unretouched. Individual results may vary. Fat Grafting Signs of facial aging are due in part to the loss of fatty tissue in the cheeks and around the mouth. Only recently has the surgeon been able to reliably take fat from one area and graft it in another area for a permanent result. This procedure is very natural, simple and safe when performed correctly.
Upper Blepharoplasty (upper eyelid tuck) and EndoscopicBrowlift The upper eyelid skin can droop or sag and small fat collections can make it look puffy. The extra skin and fat is simply trimmed from the lid (often only local anesthesia is needed) and tiny sutures are placed. The scar is hidden in the eyelid crease and rarely noticeable. Occasionally, the eyebrow skin appears heavy in addition to the eyelid skin. By making small incisions in the scalp and using a surgical camera, the brow area can be raised and rejuvenated without the need of a long incision.
Utilizing tiny injections of Botox at the location of frown lines and crow's feet will temporarily smooth the active wrinkles from these areas. This safe, simple procedure can last up to 6months.
